I Had Back Surgery. Can I See A Chiropractor?
Yes. Research shows that  up to 50% of those who had spinal surgery discover a return of their original symptoms several months or years later, only to be given an option for another corrective surgery which is not a 100% guarantee to be effective.  Chiropractic may help prevent repeated back surgeries. In fact, if chiropractic care is initially utilized back surgery can often be avoided in the first place.

Hubert L. Rosomoff, MD, called a moratorium on back surgeries when he realized that, after two weeks of rehabilitation, his back patients no longer required surgery. He said this approach can avoid the majority of surgeries.

"Following this kind of concept you can eliminate 99 percent of the surgical cases. In fact, the incidence of surgery if one really looks at this appropriately is one in 500."
