Contrary to popular opinion, Chiropractors are not just “back doctors.” There are conditions of the extremities that can be treated with conservative chiropractic care. As with all conditions presented to the clinic, a thorough history and physical examination are performed in order to diagnose the condition accurately. Sometimes, the patient comes to the office and is already diagnosed with a condition by the medical doctor or another health care provider. Regardless, we still take a thorough history and physical examination to arrive at an accurate second opinion. As with all conditions, if we feel this can be helped with chiropractic care, then we will provide a treatment plan for the patient.
